"The Stuff That Dreams Are Made Of"
I just finished watching "The Maltese Falcon" and it was amazing! It's now one of my favorite classic films. I am a fan of Film Noir mostly, and this was a really great example of that genre. The only thing I hate about older movies is the blatant racism and sexism throughout. I try and think of it as a look into the past though so I don't go insane!! ANYWAY, the movie was great and I got a lot of knitting done while I watched. I give it 5 stars!
On a side note: I wish people still wore hats all the time :(

I love old movies!
ReplyDeleteThey are by far my favorites!
An old movie can beat half the crap they make nowadays by a mile. I'm glad someone else agrees with me!!
ReplyDeletethis film so stands the test of time. And honestly, it would be boring if P.C. ;)
ReplyDeleteoh, and if you're into noir and haven't seen it yet, watch The Thin Man!!
ReplyDeleteI don't think that things should be totally politically correct because you can't ignore the past and it's necessary for art and literature to be able to talk about those things.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen The Thin Man and I'll be sure to! Thanks for the recomendation!
